The resort is very nice. The rooms have hard surfaces and are very nice. We had a lovely view of the lake. Our room entrance was directly to outside and we had a small porch with rocking chairs. There are no televisions or radios in the rooms, so it is a good place to get away from it all. They will clean with baking soda and vinegar on request. The restaurant has great food and some of it is organic (but not all – so it is best to ask). There is an outdoor observatory that has star parties. They also have a naturalist who teaches a course on reptiles. At nights, they have outdoor movies for the kids. You can take your dog with you when staying there. There are hiking trails and the resort is on Lake Buchanan. All in all - it is a great place and beautiful.
